I’m ashamed to admit this: I’ve never cooked a holiday meal in my adult life. Sure, I’ve brought a side dish or dessert to a family gathering, but the real meat and potatoes (no pun intended), I’ve never done. Ever.
This year though, I told The Hero that I wanted to try it. I wanted to possibly, maybe cook a turkey and make dressing, do the equivalent of green bean casserole (neither of us are too thrilled about it as is) and some other sides. Dessert is a piece of cake (I’m on a roll with the puns, huh?) and drinks…? Got that covered.
A fellow blogger, Cathy from A Peak Into My Paradise, asked us bloggers to give her some Thanksgiving recipes and she received overwhelming responses (my fall pound cake cupcakes are included). I figured this would help me with my holiday cooking dilemma. If you’re in the same boat, this should help you too. So without further ado, here is the Thanksgiving recipe round-up and check out A Peek Into My Paradise.
